The Government has the immediate need to reduce waste volume and find alternatives to an already saturated landfill. This reduction in waste volume can happen primarily through Incineration. Other technologies such as composting, waste to energy and biogas are highly dependent on good segregation practices. Since segregation is a challenge in our country at the moment an interim solution is that of combustion wherein all waste; including highly chlorinated plastic can be combusted without any toxic emissions, dioxins or furans.
We have two solutions to offer in this space:
(a) The Thermal disposable Unit and
(b) Bio-gas options for rural areas.
Incineration has had a negative connotation in India so far. But with the growth in population and overflowing landfills, the government has little or no option but to reduce waste volume. While this is an expensive option, we do think it has very good market potential in a large country like ours. One immediate potential we have seen are in remote areas wherein waste may have to be hauled long distances or thrown in the open in forests or mountains. So proposals have been submitted to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Daman etc.
THERMAL DISPOSAL UNITs are designed as a two stage incinerator unit comprising of a primary loading chamber and a secondary after burner chamber. This afterburner system draws the hot gases from the primary chamber; this ensures a clean (and compliant) burn at temperatures of 850- 1150˚C. The TDU is one of the most robust reliable and thermally efficient incinerators available in the market today.
The machine capacity ranges from 250 Kg-1000Kg an hour.
We have tied up with SPRERI ( Sardar Patel Renewable Energy Research Institute) for the commercialization of bio-gas in India. The institute shall design the plant and provide quality and project management services; while Mira Greentech shall take on the delivery and implantation of the specific plant. Under the Rural Industrialization program the government envisions Cattle hostels with linkages to biogas production as a model of providing modern integrated common facilities for better care and improving productivity of all cattle in the village.
Under the CPCB guidelines, all waste from every hospital is picked up and hauled to a common treatment facility. In this treatment facility the waste is segregated ( if not already done in colored bags) and is treated based on the guidelines. In Keeping with these guidelines, Mira proposes today a solution that is in-situ to every hospital. This will save Government land and will be cheaper for every hospital in the long run as they would not need to pay for hauling.
For a complete solution we are offering the hospitals:
(a) “Hygimed” that caters to waste cateogary 3,4,6,7 and the
(b) Medical Incinerators that caters to cateogary 1,2,5
Hygimed, a unique machine that chemically disinfects medical waste and shreds if required. It is specially designed to treat medical/ clinical waste only. It uses an innovative chemical disinfectant that is biodegradable and safe for discharge to the sewer. The residue can be discarded as ordinary municipal waste. Every cycle has a load capacity of 70 liters and takes less than 20 minutes per waste cycle.
It is a fully automated, unmanned process and requires no civil construction.
These incinerators are designed specially for medical waste The highest combustion technology has been utilized to provide complete nitrogen oxides (NOx) control. The medical range guarantee’s the removal of volatile organic compounds (VOC’s), cobalt (CO), Dioxins, and Furans to ensure the highest standards in medical waste management.
The machines would range from 15kg to 200 kg capacities to cater specifically to the Yellow bag generated in hospitals/ research clinics
India’s growing population and water needs continue to be a great challenge for decision makers on how to best preserve current water sources, cleaning and reusing contaminated water like sewage and effluent, and dredging of ponds and lakes across India.

Based on the natural conditions of the water body, size and other construction parameters a desired solution is chosen to be delivered in discussion with our prestigious clients.
This is natural method that is used to treat large water bodies such as canals and large flowing water bodies. Since it is a natural process created with the plants and gravel/ fine aggregates the water is filtered and requires very less maintenance.
This is a well known technology and very common for the Indian Market. Most SBR STP plants in India don’t work as they have been implemented very poorly. Thus a big area of work can be seen in retrofitting these old STP”s based on the same technology. This technology scales up and down based on the required capacity and is very popular for residential and commercial buildings.
This solution is a patented one and is comparatively less popular as of now in the Indian market. And it is here that we see a huge business potential. This solution for processing water leaves less sludge thus making it a unique one. IN addition to the fact that it enables major savings in managing the treatment plant as no evacuation of sludge is required for long periods of time. For small treatment plants ranging from 50 KLD to 800 KLD we attempt to bring in a pre-packaged solution that would work on a plug and play basis. This would ensure our solution would be cheaper as it would remove all civil construction work and would require less space.
The Disinfectant is a patented product that caters to the demand of clean drinking water. Drinking water disinfection in rural areas, where due to missing centralized water treatment and supply systems, the disinfection at point-of-use can be used.
This can be provided at the household level and at the Municipality level. The Ministry of Sanitation and Drinking water have special incentives to ensure bacteria free drinking water for the rural areas, and this falls completely within this ambit.
